The Knighton Lane Artists group are a cooperative providing affordable spaces for local artists in the Leicester. Among our studio and associate membership we include painters, ceramicists, graphic designers, new media practitioners and sculptors among other disciplines.

Leicester Creative Business Depot is a hub for creative people and businesses in Leicester.

Our Studio can be found at 50, St. George Street, close to Curve Theatre, LCB Depot and Phoenix Cinema. As well as boasting a large, well lit and equipped studio we also have an Education Space, Gallery and a Shop.

Makers' Yard is an award-winning, dynamic and inspiring workspace for creative entrepreneurs. Located in Leicester's cultural quarter, this listed building is the oldest surviving hosiery factory in the East Midlands. It's been sensitively restored into ten studios which house a growing creative community of artists and designer-makers.

Phoenix Interact Labs is a space run in partnership with Interact Digital Arts that encourages people to be creative with digital technology. Equipped with computers VR kit and 3D printers, Interact Labs provides a space at Phoenix dedicated to learning, experimentation, creative collaboration and making new things.

Studioname is a new studio organisation Studio are costed at a flat rate that includes all heating, wifi, water, power and critical support where asked for. All artists have use of the kitchens, toilets and communal areas. The studios are all 24 hour 365 days a year access.

The Clay Room is an open access ceramics studio in Leicester. We offer membership to a shared ceramics studio and use of equipment. Anyone who is confident working with clay can apply. Our aim is to support emerging and existing ceramic artists in furthering their practice.

Founded by award-winning photographer James Millar, the Tintype Studio makes beautiful one-off art phototgraphs. They create a photograph that is made of silver, a picture rendered on metal and an image which is completely unique.

Two Queens is an artist-run gallery and studios situated in Leicester’s Cultural Quarter. With the ambition of providing a centre for experimental modes of arts production, exhibition and exchange, Two Queens is dedicated to establishing an agenda for new activity in the city and across the region.
